Most cheap models answer Vietnamese by translating it into English, reasoning there, and translating back — which is where the tone and the domain vocabulary go missing. Qwen3 was trained on enough Vietnamese to skip that round trip.
A sensible default for a Vietnamese support widget or an internal helpdesk, with a premium model reserved for answers that get sent to a customer verbatim.
